Meet Abeena Gomes: Digital Marketer, Philanthropist and Podcast Host

In light of International Women’s Day I sat down with Abeena Gomes who is passionate about youth engagement and media. She is the founder of Shine Your Light Initative and Marketing Consultant at ASG Solutions.

Rianna: What lead you to advocate and work towards providing quality education? Is there a personal story that you can share?

Abeena: I have always been afforded the opportunity to learn. As I grew older I understood that not everyone has that privilege hence I decided to use the resources that I have to help others.

It creates a domino effect because they’re now equip with the resources to aid persons in their respective homes or even communities.

Rianna: How has your business changed since COVID? Have you introduced any new projects during this time?

Abeena: The nature of my business has always been online but I saw a decline in clientele due to the pandemic. I focused more on developing certain skills to expand my service offerings.
